My Why -
Just over eleven years ago, I sat up in the middle of the night wondering, in this modern world, how do women do it all… that night, I created the brand Mommy’s Little HelpHer. I did not know why but it’s almost as-if someone tapped me on the shoulder to say, you need to do this. Our little boy was only a few months old at this time. Some of the thoughts swirling in my head were, how do I be present for my little boy and work full time? How do I build my own business/my own brand? How do I become the best mom possible? How do I continue to be a great wife, friend, sister, daughter, granddaughter and neighbor? I am not good at asking for help and if I am being honest, we didn’t really have much help. Were other women experiencing health problems like mine? What if I have another miscarriage? That is when my wheels started turning. How can I support women feeling like me? How do we grow our family with little to no help? It took me years to hear, feel, and experience God's message in order to help other women. Fast forward to today and the message is clear – Keep the faith, work hard, have grace for yourself (and others), it is ok to ask for help, share your story and do not lose your light. One area I am still working on is asking others for help. Now, this is where Sister Christian is born. My dream is to create a safe space for women to grow and strengthen each other. To share stories of life experiences, trauma, triumph, and God's love. To coach and educate, you can have it all. Do not fear. Do not let anyone tell you, you can’t. Last but not least, even on the loneliest days or durning your darkest moments, you are never alone.
